The rates below are PER WEEK of accommodation with a local family. Prices are shown in US Dollars. We normally place only one student with each local family (unless it's a couple or family traveling together). We do this to "force" you to speak Spanish.

The "number of students column" refers to arrangements for couples and families or friends traveling together who wish to be placed within the same local family.

Please note: prices are in US Dollars. For home stays in Bocas del Toro please add a supplement of $50 USD per person per week and of $75 USD for Panama City. Children receive a special discount when they stay at a home stay with their parents: children 7 years old and under have a 25% discount (children 8 and above pay the full rate).

Laundry service is available at $5 for wash and dry. At check-in, a $5 deposit is requested for use of towels and a $2 deposit for your room key. Cancellations made with 7 days or more will receive a 50% refund. There will be no refund for days paid upon early departure. There will be no refunds for cancellations in high seasons (Christmas, New Year, Holy Week, Vacations and national holidays).

A credit card is required to make the reservation and you'll be charged payment in full. Cancellations can be made with up to 30 days in advance with no penalty (entire amount will be refunded). No shows and cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival will be charged the full basic room rate of the 1st night + 10% tax (the rest will be refunded), with the exception of monthly bookings that will have a 50% penalty of the entire stay (the rest will be refunded).

For each additional guest aged under 18 (and above 5, children under 4 stay for free), please add $10 USD per night and for each extra adult add $20 USD per night. During certain holidays rates are sometimes raised. Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival date will be a charge a $20 processing fee. Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before arrival we will charge 50% of the basic room rate of the 1st night + 10% tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to arrival we will charge the full basic room rate of the 1st night + 10% tax.

These rates are only for Habla Ya students. Long term discounts are not available (-) during peak season (November 1 - April 31 and National holidays in Panama). Daily rates quoted above do not apply during holidays ($10 extra per night). Rates include cleaning every second day, free wireless Internet access and free cable TV. This offer does not include breakfast or complimentary drink during social hour. Habla Ya students can purchase our affordably priced breakfast specials, social hour beverages or room snacks. Room prices are for single or double occupancy; please add $20 per extra person per night and $25 USD per extra person per night during peak holidays.

During Peak Season (Holidays such as Christmas, Independence, Carnivals, Holy Week - in quote this will be notified), there is a charge of $10 EXTRA PER NIGHT above and beyond the high season rates listed here. The rates are based on no more than 2 people to each room. Low season: May 1st to October 31st (excluding Panamanian National Holidays). High Season: November 1st to April 30th (excluding Panamanian National Holiday). The rates for more than one week do not include the International Breakfast or a beverage during the Social Hour. With a 24-hour advance notice, the International Breakfast may be purchased for $6 (plus tax). Stays of one day to six days require a one day non-refundable deposit. Since the longer term stays of week or longer are heavily discounted, a 50%, non-refundable amount is due upfront upon reservation and the rest is due upon Check-In.

HS stands for High Season and is from November 1st until April 14th. Reduced weekly rates do not apply on the following dates (if entire or part of the stay falls within these days, full HS rate per night is to be paid for those specific days): Carnivals, Holy Week , La Feria del Mar - The Fair of the Sea, National Days (November 1st - 11th), Christmas and New Years Holiday (December 15th - January 15th). A credit card and 50% deposit is required to make the reservation. The remaining amount will be charged upon arrival. Cancellations can be made with up to 30 days in advance with no penalty (only 3% credit card fee). No shows and cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival will be charged the full basic room rate of the 1st night + 10% tax. No shows and cancellations made 7 days prior to check lose their 50% deposit.

Reduced weekly rates may not apply on National Holidays or at certain times during high season (contact us for a specific quote). A credit card and 50% deposit is required to make the reservation. The remaining amount will be charged upon arrival. Cancellations can be made with up to 30 days in advance with no penalty (only 3% credit card fee). No shows and cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival will be charged the full basic room rate of the 1st night + 10% tax. No shows and cancellations made 7 days prior to check lose their 50% deposit.

* Please note: prices are in US Dollars. No stay of less than 28 nights will be charged more than the monthly total. Due to limited apartment availability, reservations require a 30% payment with credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover) and may be cancelled up to 30 days before checkin date with a one night cancellation fee (at the basic rate) and the rest will be refunded. Balance is due upon check in. No-shows and reservations cancelled within 30 days automatically lose their 30% payment and will be charged one night at the daily rate in addition. LS (Low Season) is from May 1st - September 30th. HS (High Season) is from October 1st - April 30th. PS (Peak Season) is from November 1st until December 3rd, December 20th until January 3rd, Carnival and Holy Week. There is a one bedroom apartment on the third floor that is $10 more per night because of the view (you can see the Caribbean Sea from it).

* Please note: prices are in US Dollars. "A" apartments (115 m2) have 2 full bathrooms and "B" apartments (110 m2) have 1.5 bathrooms. Upper floor apartments are priced higher but layouts are the same. Minimum stay is 2 nights. Prices are for up to 4 persons per apartment. For each extra person add $15 USD per person per night. For stays of 4 weeks or more, gas and electricity is NOT INCLUDED in the rate. For stays less than 4 weeks, a $500 security deposit is required. Deposit is returned at check out. If cancellation is made with 2 months or more in advance, deposit is returned minus 1 night at normal rate and credit card fees. Cancellations made with 1 month or more in incur in 50% deposit penalty. Cancellations made within 1 month or no shows lose deposit entirely. Special rates may apply during Panama's National Holidays (we will let you know if that is the case). Check in is at 3 p.m. and check out is at 12 p.m. Maximum amount of guests is 4 - 6 depending on apartment.

Each person above 12 is charged $20 per person per night (up to two children under 12 can stay free of charge with parents). Cancellations can be made with up to 7 days in advance with a 1 night penalty (at normal rate). No shows and cancellations made 7 days or less prior to arrival will be charged 25% of total stay.

Check in is at 10 a.m. and check out is at 2 p.m. Cancellations can be made with up to 7 days in advance with a 1 night penalty (at normal rate). No shows and cancellations made 7 days or less prior to arrival will be charged 25% of total stay.

Low Season is from May to November and High Season is from December to April. Minimum age of stay is 18 years. Prices are for single occupancy. For double occupancy, please add $10/night per person. Breakfast is not included, but can be requested for an additional $5 USD per person. These rates are only for Habla Ya students. Special student prices do not apply during National holidays in Panama. For stays over 4 weeks, the price will depend on availability, the length of your stay, and the season. Additional guests over 3 years old are charged $8 per night. Monthly rate is based on 30 days. Due to limited room availability, reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. There is a one night cancellation fee if the guest cancels 15 days or more before their check-in date. After this date, the penalty is 50% (the deposit). No shows will be charged the full amount of their reservation. High Season is from November 1st to April 30th. During the following Holidays, weekly and discounted rates are not available: November 1st - November 4th, December 29th - January 1st, Carnivals and Holy Week.

Children below 12 years of age stay free if sharing parent's bedding (an extra bed can be added for $20 a night). Peak Dates (PD) are from December 29 - January 1. Holiday Season (HS) includes Carnivals, Holy Week, November Festivities and December 24 - 26. Normal Rates (N) apply during the rest of the year. Discounted weekly and monthly rates do not apply during Peak Dates or Holiday Season. Monthly rate is based on 30 days. Reservations require a valid credit card (Visa or Mastercard) and may be cancelled within 30 days with a one night cancellation fee (at normal rate). Reservations cancelled within 10 days before reservation dates incur in 50% cancellation fee. No shows and cancellations within 24 hours are billed for their entire stay.

Rates are for single or double occupancy. Children 5 and under stay free with parents. Children between 6 and 12 pay an additional fee of $10 per nigh per child. Children 13 and above are considered a normal additional guest which pays $35 extra per night. Maximum occupany per room is 2 adults + 2 kids, or 3 adults. Reservations require a valid credit card. Cancellations can be made with up to 30 days in advance with a 1 night penalty (at normal rate). No shows and cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival will be charged 25% of total stay.

Rates INCLUDE buffet breakfast at Las Molas restaurant, welcome cocktail, use of gym, pool and business center, wifi internet connection, upgrade to executive floor (when available), discount off onsite restaurants and Albrook Mall, and free Subway Card.
