Bocas Yoga

Namaste & Welcome. My initial training consisted of 250 hours of Basic Yoga Teacher Training.
In addition to this foundation, I have successfully completed 108 Hours of Anusara Yoga Immersions, as well as 50+ hours of Anusara Yoga Teacher Training. I am on the path to eventually achieving Anusara-Inspired status. Anusara Yoga, which is grounded in a Tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness, is a heart-opening path that I love to share with others. I live on a small, remote Caribbean island off the coast of Panama, so I travel in order to maintain my trainings with my teachers, BJ Galvan, John Friend, Kelly Haas, Katherine Wilder, & Michele Baker. It is with deep gratitude that I humbly honor my teachers. I started my Anusara path at world-renowned Yoga Oasis in Tucson, Arizona under the guidance of Certified Anusara Yoga teacher, James MacAdam, the studio being owned by Darren Rhodes.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga- This invigorating and challenging yoga class allows you to come deeply inside your body and access inner peace, strengthen and tone, improve cardiovascular health, and gain deeper self awareness.
Takes place Tuesdays and Thursdays in the big house over the water with the red roof past Tierra Verde. People coming to class tell the boat driver "Rancho Bull" and they get dropped off right at the location.

Yoga Fusion

Yoga Fusion is a progressive approach to flow yoga as well as other methods of exercise. Having a background in Hatha Yoga, Dance, Pilates and Tai Chi gives me the freedom to step away from one specific practice and merge them to form a modern day Yoga Fusion!
Recently my girlfriend turned me on to the "bar method" which I find so logical when it comes to the elongating aspect of "stretching." I am slowly incorporating these isometric movements into my class (until we install bars, and a bit more training). My class is very fluid as it follows along with an amazing playlist of songs. Pausing in between vinyasas to focus on those muscles that create the length and strength we all want. So if you want a "dancers body" stop by for a great class!!!
