Prize includes return flight to Panama City (PTY) from United States, Canada, Brazil or Europe + $500 in cash upon arrival.
At Habla Ya we're extremely happy to celebrate 10 years of teaching Spanish to the World so we decided to fly 1 lucky student to Panama who'll be able to experience the most amazing Spanish learning vacation!
Don't miss your chance to win a 3 week Spanish Immersion Program in Central America with Habla Ya Spanish Schools in Bocas del Toro, Boquete and Panama City
To have a shot at winning a 3 week package of Spanish lessons, accommodation with local host families, return flight to Panama, and a bunch of eco-adventure tours, you only have to do the following:
- Make a sign that says: "I want to learn Spanish in Panama with Habla Ya!!!", and take a photo or make a video of yourself holding the sign in front of a known landmark from your hometown or the city you currently live in
- Send us your photo or video via email: (if the video file is too big for email, you can send it over wetransfer.com and share it with the previous email)
Aynsley Platten from Alberta, Canada sent us this one: this is me with the buffalo sculpture. The buffaloes used to roam the Saskatchewan prairies. This sculpture is made with barbed wire and is at the entrance of my small city. Thanks for the oppurtunity!
This automatically puts your name into the raffle to win the prize!
What's a vacation in Panama like? Check out this video...
Do you really want to win? You can improve your odds of winning by doing several things!
- Sending a photo gets your name 1 time in the raffle
- Sending a video gets your name 3 times in the raffle
- Sending a photo and a video gets your name 5 times in the raffle
And it gets even more interesting: you can send us a different photo and/or video after the 18th of each month, which will put your name even more times into the raffle.
Bethany Hammond from Toronto, Canada, would love to learn Spanish in Panama... again in her case!
On August 15th 2015 we celebrated Habla Ya's 10 Year Anniversary, and the raffle will take place on January 31st which means you'll be able to send us up to 5 photos and/or 5 videos from now until the raffle takes place, which in turn gives you the possibility to have your name up to 25 times into the raffle.
Each month you can also get your name to go 5 more times into the raffle (think of this as bonus points) by sharing on the following social media platforms using the hashtag #HablaYa10 and including the link to this contest: www.hablayapanama.com/10years/. If you can also tag Habla Ya's social media accounts, it will be a lot easier for us to find your photo or video and award you all your bonus points.
- Facebook - 1 bonus point, @Habla Ya Spanish Schools
- Instagram - 1 bonus point, @hablaya
- Twitter - 1 bonus point, @hablaya
- Pinterest - 1 bonus point, @hablaya
- On your own blog - 1 bonus point
Sharing your photo or video on social media IS NOT a requirement to participate in the contest but it does give you bonus points.
Mirjam Hoogendoorn from The Netherlands shared this photo with us - This is the "Party- Aardvark" sculpture in Arnhem, The Netherlands! It's huge and children climb and play on it! It has a party-hat on its head and it's sleeping on its back from a long night of partying! :D The little picture is the new born aardvark at our zoo (Burgers' Zoo), it was born this month (august 2015) and it's so cute and ugly! :D
So what exactly can you win?
- Return flight to Panama City (PTY) from the USA, Canada, Brazil or Europe
- 3 Weeks of Spanish lessons in Habla Ya's most popular course, Group 4 (one week at each location: Habla Ya Boquete, Habla Ya Bocas del Toro and Habla Ya Panama City)
- 3 weeks of accommodation with local host families in Panama
- A complete package of Eco-Adventure Tours in Panama
- $500 cash IN HAND upon arrival to Panama
- The chance to discover Panama and learn Spanish through Latin America's top rated Spanish Immersion Program
Jeff Platten sent us this photo: the photo is in front of the Western Development Museum in the City of North Battleford, Saskatchewan Canada where I live.
Former and current Habla Ya students will have a slight advantage as their entries will be doubled. For example, if their name would have normally gone 5 times into the raffle it will go in 10 times instead.
Each month if you want to get your bonus points, your photo or video has to be different from the previous months.

I would like to win the free trip.
I want to learn spanosh in panama !!
I have been trying to learn espanol for a few years now with not much luck. I believe that if I went to your school in Bocas del Toro I would learn much faster. I am 58 years young and would be wonderful to learn another language given Alzheimer’s runs strong in my family. It is great exercise for your brain.
I especially like the idea of living with a local family.
Thank you for your time
cheers Trina
That’s great to hear Trina =). We’ll be waiting for your photo. We’d be very happy to have you as our student. We’ll get in touch and let you know more about our programs… =)
