Nurse Shark in mangrove between Cayo Coral and Dolphin Bay in Bocas del Toro, Panama. I took this photograph shortly after disturbing this nurse shark's peaceful sleep inside the mangrove, in the late afternoon. Nurse sharks are not aggressive or dangerous, and their main diet is made of crustaceans, mollusks, stingrays and other small fish. They are mellow and mostly swim away quickly when you encounter them.
