Cosechas Wine Boquete. At Plaza Los Establos, we have the only Wine Bar of Boquete City. Cosechas! It a small place where you can enjoy the best wine from different parts of the world. If you like to sit and relax you can go to this bar and enjoy a cup of wine or even the whole bottle. They have sometimes events for wine tasting, and usually in the beginning of the evening, the young crew go to this bar for a couple of cups and chat a little bit. It is right under our school, and closed every day at 10 pm. on the weekends close at 12 am.
Panamonte Inn Bar. Panamonte Hotel has his Bar area, usually for the old people. They offer good cocktails and a very nice environment. If you want to spend a romantic time with your partner we highly recommend to go to this bar and sit by the fire while you enjoy the drinks and good appetaizers. They are located like about 4 blocks from the center of the town, prices are not to low but really worth it. No music you will find, this is why some people go there to have interesting conversations while drinking cocktails and then go to dance to La Huaca which is 5 minutes walking from the bar. In fact, the cocktail lounge is one of the great rooms in Boquete and a draw for guests and locals who gather most nights to share their day's adventures. With two roaring stone fireplaces, the décor extends the inn's European flavor by adding a little California and a dash of the Old West. Spanish-style wrought iron lamps, brass candles, and sheer, floor-length curtains frame large, open windows. Overstuffed couches and wicker chairs add the right degree of casual comfort. Throughout the room fresh Bird of Paradise are set in large vases. The lighting is romantic and the mood completed with aromas of highland air and oranges wafting in from outdoors. You might imagine Connery or Bergman sidling up to the new, exquisitely-made hardwood bar, the work of design consultant Michelle Fogarty de Brewer who also conceived the room's redecoration. Overall, the design is a sophisticated balance of mountain and tropical elements that fit wonderfully with the inn's unfussy elegance.
Nombar. Nombar, is a little chill out place at Nomba Hostel. it is also for the warm up. The only days we recommend to go . are: Tuesdays for Poker nights with beer for the price of $ 1.00 Fridays.. Best buffalo wings of town. is the wings night. people go there to prepare the stomach with good wings and beers, and then head to Zanzibar or la huaca with all the crew
Sports Bar & Grill. You will never know when it is open.
Colors. Colors is the new disco bar in town, it is located at Fundadores Hotel, in Central Avenue like about 3 blocks from the central park down the street. Opens from Thursday to Saturday. one of the best days is on Saturday but could change depending on the event they organize. It is well known cause of the electronic parties that they have with the same famous and Big Charles Bell. It is a small disco bar with some black lights, and good music. They always have life music on Saturdays and electro house after works. A very nice dance floor for those that would like to learn how to dance salsa and merengue. It has a very nice padio in the back with a little river where you can smoke your cigarettes (if you are a smoker) and chat with the new lady or men you just met (don't forget your protection). The owners are young and very cool, they will always hand you the beer you want or drink, even before you ask for them. You will know about any event on weekends, our School Director likes to party hard and he knows what is going on in town. Best day Saturdays. There is no entrance fee. only for special events. no more then $ 5.00
Bar Coca Cola. This the most popular local bar for the local people of Boquete, it has a big space for the latin dancers. Is not in town but also not far from it. No entrance fee is required, beers cost 0.50 cents. This place is only for those that know and want to learn salsa, meregue, pindin and tipico. Most of the time you will find more guys then women, like 1 women every 10 men. Men are always drunk and all over the few girls that go to the disco bar. I almost open every day, but best days on weekends, either Friday or Saturday.

Spanish in Cadiz [s.i.c] is a school where learning Spanish is easier and more enjoyable. Our facilities include large, bright, air-conditioned classrooms. We also have Internet and e-mail room at the disposal of students - the whole school has a (Wi-Fi) access hot-spot so students can benefit of internet in and outside school , as well as a student lounge with television and reading area. Mini Groups - Spanish Courses for couples or friends
If you and your couple, or a small group of friends of no more than 3 are going to sign up together for the same Spanish course and for any reason feel the need to have more privacy and would be more comfortable if the class size was limited to your private party this option is for you. A Mini Group also is intended for those couples or friends who sign up together for one of the personalized Spanish courses described below in which you will not be joined by other students.

Medical Spanish Course - Spanish for Health Professionals
This Spanish course is designed for doctors, medical students, physicians, nurses, hospital managers and health care professionals & practitioners in general who need to use Spanish in their workplace to directly communicate with Spanish speaking patients or colleagues.
Health care professionals will learn how to establish and confirm medical appointments and to receive a patient and take his admission data in Spanish. You will also be capable of interviewing a patient in Spanish, asking him about his situation to detect symptoms of possible diseases. You will practice taking notes of an interview with a patient and understand his medical history in Spanish. You will learn to explain diagnosis, treatments and procedures.
We can also prepare your Medical Spanish Course to cover specialized vocabulary or terminology related to a specific specialty. Ethical topics and current health care policies can also be discussed or debated. Hospital visits to the Social Security hospital in Boquete can be arranged and we can also put you in contact with doctors in the public or private medical sector seeking volunteers.
This Spanish course is intended for students who have at least reached an intermediate Spanish level (Conversational I, B1, according to our level system). Many students who wish to learn Medical Spanish, join our Group 4 PLUS 2 Course. In this way they have 4 hours of normal lessons with other classmates in which they advance their general Spanish skills and dedicate 2 additional hours to private lessons in which they enhance their Medical Spanish. Spanish Courses for children and young teenagers
If you have just moved to Panama and would like to make the transition for your kids as easy as possible we would be more than happy to arrange a Spanish course for them to get them speaking Spanish and making new friends as soon as possible. For those of you who have retired in Boquete and will have your grandchildren visit during their vacations we can also arrange a summer program for them that combines Spanish lessons & plenty of ecotourism activities. We also help families plan their Vacation Program so that parents and children can have Spanish lessons at our Spanish school. We will help your family make the most out of your stay in Boquete helping you organize and plan what to do during the weekends and after classes.
Several of our teachers have plenty of experience teaching children and young teenagers. Besides Spanish lessons, our teachers will play games with them that will also help them with their language skills, like bingo and monopoly. Kids can get bored inside a classroom so our teachers also take them to local gardens like El Explorador, Mi Jardín es tu Jardín and Paradise Garden. Intensive Spanish Courses
Our Intensive Spanish course is designed for individuals and small groups who desire an accelerated and intensive Spanish language course. If you are limited on your time available to study Spanish and are also highly motivated to advance as rapidly as possible in a short period of time we can offer you 2 options: you can take between 6 - 8 hours of private lessons per day, or you can join our Group 4 course and add 2 - 4 hours of private lessons per day.

Spanish Courses at your Home, Office or Hotel
If you live in Boquete or David, and it is sometimes hard to leave your home, or office for any reason, we can send a teacher right to your door, perfectly prepared and equipped with all the tools to teach a class in exact same way we do at our school. If you are staying at a hotel and just love the place that you are staying at, we can also give you Spanish lessons right there. These classes can be private lessons or in groups with family and or friends. The organization of the groups will depend on the Spanish levels of the students involved.
A small fee will be added to our normal prices to compensate the cost involved in transportation & time invested to reach your destination. Please contact us for a free quote.
Course Fees for Personalized Spanish Courses in 2007 & 2008
Depending on what you need, you will be taking your Personalized Course through private lessons or in a Mini Group, and thus prices are shown in these two categories. The only exception is if you are adding private lessons to a Group 4 course to either have a more intensive course or to cover a topic of your specific interest, e.g. Medical Spanish. In this case just add the price of the private lessons to the Group 4 price.
As a Personalized Spanish Courses can be very different in nature from one to another prices are listed as packages of hours. The packages are per person. If you have to purchase an amount of hours that does not appear on the table, you can calculate the cost by using the cost per hour of the package immediately before. The more hours you purchase, the better the price per hour. Prices are in US dollars.

Panamanian National Holidays in 2007 & 2008
The DELE Exam Preparation Course can be arranged to start on any date except on public holidays. The following Panamanian national holidays are observed by our Spanish school.
