Please note that at Habla Ya Spanish Schools in Panama you can choose from any of our Spanish courses on their own or you can also take them as part of any of our Spanish Language Programs. For example, in our Latin Cultural & Spanish Immersion Program besides participating in one of our Spanish Courses you get to live with a local host family so that you can easily keep practicing your Spanish after classes while experiencing a total immersion within our culture. We also offer Ecotourism & Adventure Spanish Programs, Junior Spanish Programs, Family Vacation Programs and Language Programs for High School/University students or Special Groups Traveling Together.
Group 4 / Group 4 PLUS 1-2 Spanish Course Panama
Group 4 is the most popular Spanish course offered at Habla Ya Panama Spanish Language School compromised of 20 hours of Spanish lessons each week in a small group. Students have four hours of group lessons per day and there is a maximum of four students in each classroom, although the average amount of students is usually two - three students per class.
Groups are arranged according to student's Spanish levels ensuring that classmates will have a very similar degree of communicative proficiency. As groups are small, students always receive the personalized attention required to learn the Spanish language.

For those students seeking an even more intensive or personalized Spanish course, the Group 4 PLUS Course adds one or two additional hours of private Spanish lessons each day on top of the standard Spanish lessons that one would normally have in a group. In these extra hours you can focus on even more specific needs and have a really intensive Spanish course or an even more personalized one. For example, Group 4 PLUS can be a Medical Spanish Course, you can prepare for the DELE exam, you can have a Business Spanish Course or basically you can concentrate on anything else you might need.
One on One Private Spanish Courses in Panama
Our One on One Private Spanish Courses in Panama consist of two - six hours of individual Spanish lessons per day. You can sign up for as little as a day of private classes or go for an ambitious 48 week program. The contents, schedule and starting dates of these private Spanish lessons are arranged to suit the student's individual needs.
We offer private Spanish lessons for language students of beginner, intermediate and advanced Spanish levels. These private Spanish lessons are offered to students of all ages.
Students seeking private Spanish lessons generally need to learn Spanish more rapidly due to their time constraints, require a teacher who can focus on their very specific needs or just cannot take part of our Spanish lessons in a group for some specific reason (very particular learning style, limited time to learn Spanish, etc.).

A one to one Spanish course may be the best solution if you have particular needs that you feel will not be met in a group. Some students just feel more comfortable with private lessons.
Basic Travelers Spanish Lessons for Central and South America
This Spanish course is intended for both leisure and business travelers and tourists who wish to put themselves in greater control of their trip, their needs and their wellbeing while traveling in Central & South America. We offer this intensive Travelers Spanish Crash Course in Panama during a period of 2 - 5 days, having from 2 - 6 hours of Spanish lessons each day. As this option is not always programmed in advanced, most students take this Spanish course through private Spanish lessons, though if you are vacationing with your couple or a group of friends, we can easily arrange Spanish lessons in a group for all of you as well.
Our Basic Spanish for Travelers Crash Course is intended for those students who do not know any Spanish. If you are traveling in Panama and already know some Spanish but you want to brush up what you've picked up during your travels or learned at other Spanish schools in Latin America then you can join our Group 4 Course or have Private Spanish Lessons. It all depends on what you want and how long you plan to stay around.

Part Time Spanish Crash Course for Expat Residents in Panama
This Spanish course is perfect for those who have relocated or retired in Panama and want to be able to speak Spanish to have a higher quality of life.
Students who sign up for this 10 - 20 week Spanish course do not normally have enough time to commit to a more intensive Spanish course because of their personal circumstances. Most of the time it is because they live here and their normal life fills out most of their days. There are also students who join this course because they simply perform a lot better when they have fewer hours of Spanish lessons each week (6 - 10 hours per week).
If you are planning in the near future to move to a Latin American country and you are looking for a program to learn Spanish before making the big move you will be a lot better off with our Group 4 Course or with Private Spanish Lessons. Our Part Time Crash Coruse for New Residents is really intended for those students who already live here and cannot commit to a 20 hour per week program. If you live in Panama and can commit to 20 hours per week you will get a lot more out of our Group 4 Course or an Intensive Course of Private Spanish Lessons, basically because you will learn Spanish a lot faster.

DELE Exam Preparation Course
DELE is the official test of Spanish as a foreign language and stands for Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, or "Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma". The DELE Spanish test is internationally recognised as the official Spanish language exam for none native Spanish language speakers (like the TOEFL test is for the English language). This diploma is of great international value for those who are going to study at a Spanish speaking University or who want to work in a Spanish speaking company.
At our Spanish language school in Panama, this Spanish course is mainly offered through private lessons taking between 20 - 30 hours per week. The group option is available if you are coming with a group no larger than four students who wish to obtain the same DELE Diploma and currently have the same Spanish level. The advantage of preparing the DELE exam with us is that we have designed our Spanish levels, built our course syllabus and chosen our methodology taking into account the guidelines of the Common European Framework for Languages and thus our level system and course syllabus are built to match the DELE examination levels.

There is currently a DELE examination center in Panama City where students can take their D.E.L.E. exam. When students decide to prepare their DELE Exam with us they pay the fees to have their exam at the examination center of their preference and coordinate with us when to start preparing for their exam. You can also contact the Spanish Embassy or Consulate within your country to seek the nearest examination center to you.
