Weekly/Monthly Rentals at Isla Verde's Roundhouses & Suites

Imagine 6 cozy roundhouse cabins with an architecture based on an ancient Indian design plus 4 contemporary and fetching suites, in the middle of a perfectly kept lush tropical garden with beautiful rainforest flowers and a sparkling mountain stream surrounding the whole... look no further: in Boquete you can find this magical place: it is called Isla Verde (Green Island).

The roundhouse cabins are setup through out Isla Verde's lovely garden resembling a small and intimate village in the middle of which lies and open air geodesic dome eating area (breakfast menu is ample, although it is not included in room rates). Half of the roundhouse cabins can accommodate 4 guests each and the rest up to 6. The lower floor has an open plan living area with a queen and double size bed in the big roundhouses and a double bed in the small roundhouses. Each roundhouse has full kitchen, dining area and a loft with 2 additional single beds or 2 small futon type couches, suitable for young adults or teenagers and one of the roundhouses (Bonaire), has a more comfortable convertable couch instead of the futon couches. A wifi internet signal covers several of the cabins, reaches some benches in the middle of the garden and ends at the dome area.

The suites are the perfect choice for couples as they can accommodate up to 2 persons with plenty of comfort. Each suite has a bedroom, an independent living area and kitchenettes. The second floor units have a king size bed and a balcony with precious forest and river views. The ground level suites have a queen size bed and a step out of them will lead you directly into the lush of the tropical garden overlooking the crystal clear stream that runs just a couple of meters away and soothes your senses all day long. It is especially relaxing to fall asleep listening to the gentle currents of these streams.

It is an excellent choice for those seeking peace and leafy surroundings, but with the convenience of being within walking distance to town. Isla Verde is only 5 minutes away from Habla Ya Language Center by foot. When traveling into town on Central Avenue (Avenida Los Fundadores) from David, turn left at the intersection with Fifth Street (Calle 5ta Sur), which is just after the Delta Gas Station and before Los Establos Plaza (where our Spanish school is located). Note: these rates are only for Habla Ya students. Rates do not include Panama's 10% Hotel Tax. These prices are for 2 persons. For only 1 person, take $25 off each price (1 week or more). For each additional guest aged under 18, please add $5 per night and for each extra adult add $10 per night.

In order to maintain the tranquility of this peaceful setting, children aged between 2 through 10 are not accepted. Infants and supervised children over the age of 10 are happily welcome. Cabañas Sunny Hills: fully furnished cabins in Alto Lino, Boquete

These cute yellow cabins are a good option for those who are looking for a place just a bit out of town (5 minute ride by taxi). On the first floor of each cabin (4 in total) you will find the living and dining area, the kitchen, 1 bedroom, and a bathroom. The second floor has a loft with 3 twin beds. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed with closet, the living room has a TV with DirectTV, the dining room has a table that can sit up to 4 comfortably, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, a complete set of dishes, cutlery and cooking equipment. All cabins have wifi internet access.

A small terrace on the front of each cabin has a nice bench and a social area with a barbecue grill. Each cabin has its own parking space. The cabins have been simply but nicely built with attention to detail, ceramic tiling, wood furniture and French style windows.

To get to the cabins from downtown Boquete, take a left at the Y-junction at the end of the main road, pass Café Ruiz and drive until you reach Los Naranjos crossing, take a right go up the hill, and then take the first right. Apartments for rent at Los Pinos in downtown Boquete

Conveniently located in downtown Boquete, only 2 blocks from the Main Street, these apartments have been setup with all the furniture and equipment that is needed to have a decent and pleasant stay. The interiors are basic but functional and the kitchens are fully equipped with pots, pans, a coffee maker and all the necesarry implements.

There are 2 apartments that are available for monthly rentals and each of them have 2 bedrooms with beds and closets, a kitchen with stove and fridge, living room, dining area and access to a laundry machine. The difference between both of them is their size: 1 of them is slightly bigger.

To get to these apartments go up on Central Avenue and 3 blocks after passing the Central Park take a left and continue until the end of the second block, take a right and you will find these apartments just after Cable & Wireless main offices. Visit Los Pinos's website...

When you are looking for a house to rent in Boquete for more than a month, the best way to do it in our opinion is to come, stay at a midrange hotel for a couple of weeks and look for yourself, because this will be the only way to find something that you really want. If you plan to rent for only a month, you are better of staying at a Bed & Breakfast like el Oasis, at Isla Verde or at Cabañas Sunny Hills.

Most of the time, real estate agents will not have a lot of options on their hands if you are not willing to spend more than $1,000 per month.
