Only our language students are eligible for special prices at certain hotels if they study with us for at least 1 week. You can contact the hotels directly letting them know that you are our student and they will give you the special price after confirming with us that you will effectively be our student. Please let them know the exact length and dates of your stay. Obviously it will be a lot easier for everybody if you let us make the reservation for you. This will certainly avoid any confusions about who is and who is not a student of ours. Hostal Nomba: a place with a chilled out vibe & good parties
Hostal Nomba is one of the most exciting backpacker spots in Boquete. It has a nice vibe, it is full of good energy, opportunities to chill out and of course, to PARTY! It can accommodate up to 16 persons in the dorm rooms and also offers 2 private rooms that have space for up to 3 travelers each. A cabin area for groups utilizes the two private rooms, has a full private kitchen and includes two dorm beds in order to accommodate up to 8 people. Common areas of the hostel include: bar, chill out area, kitchen, laundry, 2 bathrooms, and a TV area to watch movies and concerts on DVD.
On the weekends it is not unusual for travelers in town to gather at Nomba before going to the local bars or any other party in town. If you decide to stay at Nomba be sure to not miss its poker and buffalo wing nights. Nomba also hosts the office of Mirador Adventures so if you need any tour advice you will find that Nomba's staff is professional and very helpful.
Directions from downtown: from the bus stop, walk up the hill on the main street to the Madarín supermarket (just cross the road and you will be there in 30 seconds), and then take a left. Go one block, then take a right and look for the colorfully painted green and orange building, located 50 meters ahead on the right side of the road. Hostal Refugio del Río: a low budget & quiet spot to rest & relax
Known in town as the "luxurious" hostel for backpackers, our students are always surprised to discover that such a beautiful house bas been transformed into a hostel. This "refugee by the river" has been carefully furnished and decorated and has 4 bedrooms all of which have private bathrooms. 2 of the bedrooms are dorm rooms that can accommodate up to 6 and 10 people each. The other 2 bedrooms have a double bed and one of them also has a single bed with a beautiful view to the garden and to the creek behind the property.
The communal areas are the best amongst the low budget hostels in Boquete. The kitchen is very large indeed and is fully equipped. We even have had students who do not like to cook who feel tempted to prepare their own meal when they find themselves in such a magnificent kitchen within the hostel. The laundry facilities are also very spacious with brand new appliances and the wooden furniture found in the dining room give it an intimate touch that will make you feel just at home. A TV and DVD are also available in a cozy living room to watch some good movies. And last but not least, this hostel has gorgeous terraza with chimney, a stereo system and bar, which if you stay here you will certainly spend many hours resting, chilling out and relaxing while you overlook the peaceful creek and green yard full of trees.
To get to Hostal Refugio del Río, on Central Avenue, turn right on the road between the Delta Gas Station and Los Establos Plaza (where Habla Ya is located) walk pass Los Establos Plaza, cross the bridge over the creek, take a right and a little bit further ahead you will see Hostal Refugio del Río on you right. Hostal Refugio del Río was selected amongst the best places to stay in Boquete within the low price range because it is really amazing how such a nicely furnished and comfortable hostel is priced as a low budget hostel. It is located very close to our Spanish school and is peacefully quiet, making it a nice spot to rest and relax. Hostal Boquete: centrally located riverside hostel, spacious rooms
Hostal Boquete is conveniently located in the center of town, and is built besides the current of the Río Caldera. Once you walk through the main entrance of this riverside hostel you start feeling as if you were out of town. This hostel has a total of 10 bedrooms all of which have private bathrooms with hot water and can accommodate between 2 to 3 people each. Four of the rooms have river views and two of them have private balconies. A suite is available in the second floor with a full kitchen and private balcony overlooking the river and garden. Be sure to ask for a room with a river view so that you can fall asleep listening to the peaceful sounds of the river.
In the outdoor area, there is a community balcony along the riverside with chairs and hammocks that will allow you to indulge your senses with the sights and sounds of the Caldera River. Cooking facilities and a refrigerator is available for all guests in the communal area. Each morning by the river side garden you can enjoy a complementary cup of coffee to help start your day off.
To reach Hostal Boquete: from the bus station, walk across the Central Park in direction of "Bar Amigos", cross the road and pass by "el Municipio" and be sure that you are on the right side of "Supermercado Romero", the biggest supermarket in town. Then walk towards the bridge which spans the Río Caldera, turn left before crossing it and you will see Hostal Boquete on the right.

Hotel Oasis: a pleasant mid range bed & breakfast by the river
The Oasis Hotel is newly built which ensures that everything is in working order. It is owned and managed by Anayansi, the daughter of the Menéndez family who settled in this area around 60 years ago. It benefits from a riverfront location close to the Boquete fairgrounds, where the Flower and Coffee Festival is celebrated each year in mid January and therefore offers nice scenic accommodations. The owner and assistants are extremely warm and welcoming and will make sure that your stay is satisfying.
This Bed & Breakfast has 12 rooms in total, 6 of which have river and volcano views. The rooms, which are named after local flowers, are extremely clean, have comfortable beds and are simply but nicely decorated. One of the rooms has a king size bed, a couple have queen size beds and the rest are a mix of doubles and twins. Every room has its own private bathroom with hot water and Direct TV. Free wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and a couple of computers are also available for guests. A full continental breakfast is included which can be enjoyed in the riverside lounge or on an outdoor patio. Laundry service is available at an additional fee. The common areas also include a living room with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, a "rancho" within the gardens in front of the river and a balcony with several hammocks.

Isla Verde Hotel: a tropical garden with cozy cabins & suites
Imagine 6 cozy roundhouse cabins with an architecture based on an ancient Indian design plus 4 contemporary and fetching suites, in the middle of a perfectly kept lush tropical garden with beautiful rainforest flowers and a sparkling mountain stream surrounding the whole... look no further: in Boquete you can find this magical place: it is called Isla Verde (Green Island).
The roundhouse cabins are setup through out Isla Verde's lovely garden resembling a small and intimate village in the middle of which lies and open air geodesic dome eating area (breakfast menu is ample, although it is not included in room rates). Half of the roundhouse cabins can accommodate 4 guests each and the rest up to 6. The lower floor has an open plan living area with a queen and double size bed in the big roundhouses and a double bed in the small roundhouses. Each roundhouse has full kitchen, dining area and a loft with 2 additional single beds or 2 small futon type couches, suitable for young adults or teenagers and one of the roundhouses (Bonaire), has a more comfortable convertable couch instead of the futon couches. A wifi internet signal covers several of the cabins, reaches some benches in the middle of the garden and ends at the dome area.
The suites are the perfect choice for couples as they can accommodate up to 2 persons with plenty of comfort. Each suite has a bedroom, an independent living area and kitchenettes. The second floor units have a king size bed and a balcony with precious forest and river views. The ground level suites have a queen size bed and a step out of them will lead you directly into the lush of the tropical garden overlooking the crystal clear stream that runs just a couple of meters away and soothes your senses all day long. It is especially relaxing to fall asleep listening to the gentle currents of these streams.
In addition, on site massage therapy by Spa Boquete, body work and facial services are available for guests at the Yellow House (Casita Amarilla) located on the Isla Verde premises. In order to maintain the tranquility of this peaceful setting, children aged between 2 through 10 are not accepted. Infants and supervised children over the age of 10 are happily welcome.
It is an excellent choice for those seeking peace and leafy surroundings, but with the convenience of being within walking distance to town. Isla Verde is only 5 minutes away from Habla Ya Language Center by foot. When traveling into town on Central Avenue (Avenida Los Fundadores) from David, turn left at the intersection with Fifth Street (Calle 5ta Sur), which is just after the Delta Gas Station and before Los Establos Plaza (where our Spanish school is located). Villa Marita Lodge: cozy cottages with explosive views
Nestled upon a plateau in the heights of the valley of Boquete you will encounter this amazing lodge that emerges in perfect harmony within its natural surroundings from where you can contemplate in aw some of the most stunning panoramic views of the Volcán Barú and the river valley below (on clear days you can also contemplate the Pacific and some of its islands).
Villa Marita has 6 intimate and cozy cottages with 1 bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area that can accommodate up to 4 guests each. Just how you would imagine a cozy cottage in the mountains, they are decorated with a hardwood finishing characteristic of the homes of the largest coffee producers of the region. The Panamanian owners who have lived in this area for the than 40 years are bilingual and will give you some of the most friendly attention that you will encounter in Boquete. From the church in downtown Boquete, drive uphill and take a left at the Y intersection.
